I have to say that the jubilee celebration at Mankato was excellent. The Mass was beautiful, great homily, and the reception afterwards with lunch was wonderful.
I am a former high school student of Pat\’s from Totino-Grace HS in Fridley, MN, now living in Arkansas. I had Pat for Chemistry and Religion. I said a few words at the reception after lunch about how Sr. Pat had a profound positive influence on me and that I wouldn\’t have missed this for anything.
I was happy to be able to bring my wife, Jane, and my mother, Peg, to the celebration. They both thoroughly enjoyed it. Today it is a month later and we still talk about it a lot.

Hope you arrived back to the Mother House okay. We are planning on coming in July for the Jubliee, I saw that the block of rooms were only going to be held until the 14th of this month. Do you think there is a chance of getting one at this late date.
Have heard from Jay once again. He is doing fine, says that the flying has slowed down a bit but should be picking up soon. A mortar went off in the compound near the px and killed a couple, Jay said he hadn\’t heard about it until the following morning. He is going to have some R&R in October but we don\’t know if he will be allowed to come home.
Dick\’s dad is doing fine the hip replacement great, he is having trouble now keeping food down and he is fainting more than he should be. We are going to go and see him on Monday t he 28th.
I\’m looking forward to coming if everything goes alright here.
Love to you
Pam and Dick
